Edith Caballero (she/her), LCSW, MCAP, CCTP, RYT, is an award-winning social worker, Mentor, Coach, and EMDR Certified Therapist™, who creates restorative spaces for social workers, therapists, and healers to recover from burnout, grow in their careers, and live authentically aligned lives.

As the founder of the Helpers Sanctuary, Edith supports clinicians through therapy, supervision, consultation, peer communities, and workshops that nurture both personal healing and professional sustainability.

As a clinician, Edith specializes in working with helpers and healers navigating grief, trauma, recovery, and life transitions. As a mentor and supervisor, she helps social workers and therapists strengthen boundaries, prevent burnout, and build ethical, sustainable practices. Edith skillfully approaches her work through a trauma-informed, relational, and holistic lens, creating space for reflection, growth, and authentic connection.

Over the years, Edith has been trained in EMDR, trauma recovery models, and reflective supervision approaches. She blends her clinical expertise with her passion for mentorship and community-building, offering both individual and group spaces for healing and professional development.

Her work has been recognized within the social work and therapy communities through peer support + consultation initiatives, workshops, and her holistic small business, Lotus Love Box, which curates self-care gifts for mental health and those navigating healing. Outside of her professional work, Edith is a Cancer sun-sign, Nicaraguan-Cuban American, tea enthusiast, and nature lover who finds joy in camping, road trips, and time with her pup.

OUR WORK TOGETHER

Values

radical compassion

I believe radical compassion is a doorway to deeper joy and freedom. While it's not always easy, learning to relate to ourselves—and to humanity—with compassion helps us feel more connected, whole, and alive.

Honor

I honor you as the full, complex being you are. I’m here to witness all of it—your pain and your pride, your growth and your grief. This is a space where every part of you is welcome, without judgment, and held with deep respect.

trust

True transformation requires a sense of safety—or sometimes just enough bravery to begin. My intention is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and deeply understood, so you can focus on the meaningful, life-changing work ahead.

community

I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of community. We flourish when we are supported by affirming, nurturing relationships. That’s why I’ve co-created a space for therapists and social workers to grow, connect, and support one another in a spirit of collective care.

empowerment

One of the core aims of therapy is empowerment. Together, we’ll explore and reshape the beliefs that hold you back, helping you step more fully into your confidence, trust your decisions, and embody your most authentic self.

My Word

Side Effects of Therapy

It matters deeply to me that you feel heard, understood, and genuinely supported.

I prioritize building human, heartfelt connections that nurture empowerment, healing, and growth.

I believe you already hold the wisdom and strength within; together, we’ll gently uncover and work with these inner parts to reconnect with your most authentic self.

I am here to hold space for your deepest truth.

You deserve to celebrate yourself just as you are, without striving, without conditions—your worth is inherent.

You’ll gain clarity, understanding, and perspective, along with some helpful tools you can apply in your life.

You’ll have a safe/secure/brave space to explore and evolve in ways that align with your intentions.

You’ll be heard, respected, and supported at every step in the process.

You’ll have the freedom to let your goals and intentions guide the pace of your sessions.

You’ll have a guide and advocate on your side, helping you shape your own path toward the vision you have for yourself.
