I'm a two-time graduate of Florida International University where I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work. Given my own path in holistic healing and having a deep awareness of the importance of an integrative approach to wellness, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Energy Yoga in Florida and received certification in trauma-informed yoga from Nikki Myers, Founder of Yoga for 12 Step Recovery. I am certified  Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, am a certified Master’s Addictions Professional (MCAP), and as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR).

I have studied nutrition, functional medicine, and practice functional movement to better understand how stress, environment, movement, and diet impact overall health. In partnership with a colleague, I co-founded Florida’s first peer support group specifically designed for social workers and mental health professionals. This group, held monthly, promotes both personal and professional wellness while cultivating a strong sense of community, growth, and resilience within the field. I also lead a free monthly peer consultation group that offers a collaborative space to strengthen clinical skills and professional development. Recently, these two groups have merged, creating an even more comprehensive support system for practitioners.
