ABOUT
Edith C. Caballero, LCSW, MCAP, CCTP, RYT
Hi, Amazing Human! I am so glad we connected! I'm Edith Caballero and I am a licensed clinical social worker, peer support group facilitator/advocate, clinical supervisor, and trauma/self-care/resilience educator. My practice focuses on supporting social workers, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
I facilitate a space where you can release this deep sense of responsibility and/or workplace trauma so that you can experience the freedom to serve others from a place of fullness rather than depletion or pressure.

Together, we will address any feelings of inadequacy, perfectionism, and "needing to be in control". These beliefs get in the way of loving yourself as it requires you to be on edge all the time! They don't allow you to acknowledge your humanness and to be your authentic self. We will reconstruct them through gentle investigation, deep self-compassion, and humor, lots of humor!
"The Purpose of Psychotherapy is to Set People Free."
OUR WORK TOGETHER
My Values
radical compassion
I believe that radical compassion can help us experience joy and freedom. Though easier said than done, fostering a relationship with ourselves and humanity that is rooted in compassion can help us feel connected to ourselves and others.
Honor
I believe in honoring ourselves as the whole being we are. I am here to honor your pain, glories, the experiences we may not feel proud of, to the moments we felt proudest. I believe in honoring the full spectrum of your being-ness and holding that space with you in a judgement-free space.
trust
I believe that in order to do some ground-breaking work together, we need to feel safe, secure, or brave to do so. My goal is that you have a space where you feel validated, heard, and understood so that you can focus on the life-changing work we have ahead of us.
community
I do not believe that therapy should be the only instrument for change or help someone uses. We are humans living a worldly experience with others and we can all thrive in communities that are uplifting, affirming, and loving. I believe in connecting with our tribe.
empowerment
One of the primary goals of therapy is for people to be/feel empowered - to be able to feel stronger, confident, and trust ourselves to make decisions. Our work together will help to uncover, shed, and integrate new beliefs about yourself so that you can step into your fullest human expression.
My Medicine
I am a trauma-informed, person-centered, and strength-based therapist. This means that I see you as you are for the human you are. There is no space for judgment and view our relationship as fertile grounds for you to unlock you. I utilize different therapeutic modalities to assist you in your journey of self-love such as: EMDR, TIR, Ego State Therapy, DBT, Mindfulness-Based CBT, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Reiki amongst others.
My Word
It is so important to me that you feel heard, understood, and supported.

I take high regard in building human, genuine connections that foster healing, recovery, and growth.

I believe that everyone has innate strengths and utilize them as the framework to see you.

I am here to hold space for your deepest truth.

My job is to remind you that you are worthy of the life you want, that you are worthy of self-praise, and that it is your universal birthright to experience peace.
You’ll gain clarity, understanding, and perspective, along with some helpful tools you can apply in your life.

You’ll have a safe/secure/brave space to explore and evolve in ways that align with your intentions.

You’ll be heard, respected, and supported at every step in the process.

You’ll have the freedom to let your goals and intentions guide the pace of your sessions.

You’ll have a guide and advocate on your side, helping you shape your own path toward the vision you have for yourself.

"Having Edith as a coach was a game changer in opening my own practice. She guided me through creating a business plan, identifying short and long term goals and kept me accountable with action steps in between sessions. As a fellow Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I highly recommend Edith’s coaching services!"

"I attended one of Edith's workshops related to trauma and substance abuse. It has been the most informative workshop I have ever attended. I like the fact that at all times the information that was provided was directed to never stop seeing others with love and compassion. Thank you Edith for providing information in a very genuine, clear and concise way that can help us build healthier communities!"
