Meet Your Online Coach

I'm a two-time graduate of Florida International University where I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work. Given my own path in holistic healing and having a deep awareness of the importance of an integrative approach to wellness, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Energy Yoga in Florida and received certification in trauma-informed yoga from Nikki Myers, Founder of Yoga for 12 Step Recovery. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), as a Master’s Addictions Professional (MCAP), and as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR).

I have studied nutrition, functional medicine, and practice functional movement to better understand how stress, environment, movement, and diet impact overall health. In collaboration with a colleague, I co-founded Florida's first peer support group dedicated to social workers and mental health providers. This group focuses on personal and professional wellness and is facilitated monthly to foster community, growth, and resilience within the field. In addition, I also facilitate a free monthly peer consultation group, providing a space to enhance professional skills and foster a sense of community.

Meet Edith, Your Qualified Supervisor Coach

I’m Edith Caballero, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor in Florida with over 10 years of experience—and I’m here to help you succeed! Becoming a qualified supervisor has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my career, but I didn’t always feel confident in this role, actually I felt very scared.

When I first completed my qualified supervisor training, I left feeling more scared than prepared. The fear of losing my license over someone else’s mistakes kept me from taking on interns for two years. That changed when a trusted colleague, after enduring poor supervision experiences, sought me out because she believed in my ability to guide her.

Starting my supervision practice wasn’t easy. I was overwhelmed, unsure of where to begin, and I had to figure everything out through trial and error. Over the years, I’ve made mistakes, learned hard lessons, shed a few tears, celebrated successes, and spent countless hours researching, consulting with the Board, and collaborating with other supervisors.

This course is the result of those years of hard-earned experience. I’ve poured everything I’ve learned into this program to give you the tools, resources, and confidence to launch and grow your own supervision practice. The best part? You won’t be on this journey alone. I’ll be here to support you every step of the way, even after you complete the course. You will be added to an online community where I will actively be a participant and guide.
